Combined offer asisi Panorama Berlin + Berlin on Bike
In addition to classic bike rental, Berlin on bike also offers themed bike tours. One of them has been specially adapted to the Berlin Wall, including i.a. a visit to the asisi Panorama Berlin. During the tour, you follow the visible and invisible traces of the Berlin Wall along 15 kilometres between Bornholmer Straße and the government district.
The tour leads you to former border crossings, where you can explore the Mauerpark and examine the only still-intact section of the Berlin Wall including the watchtower at the Berlin Wall Memorial at Bernauer Straße. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to visit the asisi Panorama Berlin during a stop at Checkpoint Charlie. Here you get a unique perspective on the everyday life of people living on the western side of the Wall in the 1980s. The combination of historical information, an exploration of present-day Berlin – and a time travel into the 1980s through the Panorama visit – provide an intensified insight into the history of Berlin and the lifestyle at the time of the Berlin Wall.
