Experience the everyday life in the shadow of the Berlin Wall in a unique panorama exhibition by the artist Yadegar Asisi at Checkpoint Charlie.
In the specially erected rotunda in Berlin-Mitte, in the immediate surroundings of the former Death Strip and the border crossing, the monumental panorama shows on 900 square meters the day to day life in the West Berlin district of Kreuzberg in the 1980s. From a 4-meter-high visitor platform, you can dive into the house-high panorama installation - the perfect illusion of this city.
"The work on this picture took five years, the experiences it contains, half my life in East and West."
