Free guided tour

Currently, the public tour does not take place.

If you want to learn what it felt like to live at and with the Berlin Wall in a unique experience, then come to our guided tour on Thursdays (in English) and on Saturdays (in German), both at 11.30 am, without a surcharge on our regular ticket price.

Yadegar Asisi's Panorama on the divided city shows an artistically condensed picture of the Cold War era. Everyday life with the Berlin Wall on a fictitious autumn day in the 1980s is presented. The visitor can tangibly feel how banal and subtly cruel normal life was in the divided city. At the same time, the circular picture looks at people's ability to adapt to conditions that are far from ideal as a survival strategy.
